Worked in various capacities
in SSI units in design, production and marketing sections. Underwent
Management and Entrepreneurs training programme conducted by SISI,
Bangalore during 1973-1976.
In the year 1976 started a
small scale Industry(M/s. Electric Electronic Products) for the
manufacture of control Transformers & coils through an 100% finance from
SBI Mysore under Entrepreneurs scheme, subsequently expanded to areas of
Electrical maintenance , design and fabrication of special purpose
machines during the said SSI unit ( 1976-2000) manufactured and supplied
various imports substitute machinery and test equipments for the
prestigious Industries and Institutions like KEB, BEML, HAL, L & T ,
CPRI , Triveni Engineering etc to mention a few. Presently continues to
undertake professional customized consultancy works in the field of
Specialization, power systems and design and fabrication of Special
purpose machines. Recently associating with M/S.A.S.Motors and Services
for the Manufacture of Special purpose of FHB Motors for industrial
requirements.
Served the Small scale
Industry cause in the capacity as Honorary Secretary and latter as
president of Mysore Industrial Estate Manufactures Association,
Yadavagiri, Mysore.
Presently as Honorary
Secretary of Mysore Chamber of Commerce & Industry & Mysore District
Small Scale Industries Association . Continues to represent and express
the concerns of Trade & Industry of the district at various policy
forums and at concerned developmental agency meetings.
Actively associated with
various public and service organizations and has served in different
capacities.
As a member of Rotary North
was associated with many service activities and served the club in the
capacity of Charter Secretary , later as president and GGR
As one of the long serving
member of the Institution of Engineers(India), Mysore Local Centre from
the year 1972 held the position of committee member, Honorary
Jt.Secretary (Three terms) and Hon.Secretary for two terms. As Programme
Convenor is responsible for Conducting various seminars, Lecture
Programmes , Workshops , Engineers’ Day Celebrations in addition to
various technical activities as stipulated by HQ from a time to time.
Presently, as Chairman, IE(I), Mysore Local Centre for the session
2010-12, continuous to serve the Institution.
As a registered Project
guide in the Electrical Engineering Division, guided students in their
project preparation and appraisal.
