Professor H.P. Khincha
Ex-Vice Chancellor, Visvesvaraya Technological University
Prof. H P Khincha is a professor at
Indian Institute Of Science, Bangalore. He is key member of the curriculum
development and research that helped VTU to implement Parallel Programming
Curriculums. He is the Ex Vice Chancellor Of VTU Belgaum
Prof. K. Chidananda Gowda is the former
Vice-Chancellor of the Kuvempu University, which is located in the state of
Karnataka, India. He is also the son-in-law of the Kannada playwright,
Kuvempu, after whom the Kuvempu University is named. He has published many
papers, mainly in the field of pattern recognition.
Prof. Chidananda Gowda was awarded the
Kannada Sahitya Akademi award for his book, Putaanigala Vignyana Padyagalu
in 1986. He was also given the M. Visveswaraya Technical Award in 1995 for
his contributions to engineering
Padmashri Vasagam's career has been
symbiotic with India's progress and self-reliance in Space Technology.
Padmashri Vasagam has led space missions like Axis Stabilized Geostationary
Experimental Satellites and INSAT and IRS satellites for Communications
Remote Sensing and Meteorological data. He has also contributed to the
creation of inertial navigation guidance and control system, electro-optical
sensors, electro-mechanical actuators and programmable fault-tolerant
controllers for launch vehicles and satellites, all with state-of-the-art
technology developed and harnessed indigenously.
Mr. Vidyadhar M.N. has 22 years of
transportation planning, modeling and engineering experience in the public
and private sectors. The past 16 years of his experience have been with
Florida Department of Transportation (Florida DOT), Tallahassee, Florida,
USA. He holds Master’s Degrees in Urban and Regional Planning (from
University of Mysore) and in Transportation Engineering (from Ohio State
University, USA), and also bachelor’s degree in
Civil Engineering (from Univ. Visveswarya college of Engineering, Bangalore)
An
Engineering graduate with a degree in Computer Science from Mysore
University, He joined infosys way back in 1992 when infosys was still a
fledgling company with around 300 people. Under Nagarajan’s
leadership, infosys Mysore exports IT services of more than Rs.1200 Crores
every year, making Mysore the second largest IT exporting city in the state
of Karnataka .
Became the first
maintenance Assistant Executive Engineer in 220kv Hoody receiving
station Bangalore and involoved in commissioning of 2nd 100MVA power
transformer at Hoody during 1979-80. After retirement from
KPTCL was appointed as consultant. HRD, CESC, during December 2005,
Working A Principal in KEBEA Institute of Training Kadakola, Mysore. The
Training has resulted in accident free working of CESC employees for
more than six months after completion of training.
