Qualifications :

He is an engineering
graduate with a degree in Computer Science from Mysore University .

He joined infosys way back
in 1992 when infosys was still a fledgeling company with around 300
people.

He has played various roles
within organization, starting from the entry level Trainee Engineer to
his current position where he oversees the infosys Mysore Centre which
is the biggest campus that infosys has in India and perhaps one of the
biggest in the world.

Under Nagarajan’s
leadership, infosys Mysore exports IT services of more than Rs.1200
Crores every year, making Mysore the second largest IT exporting city in
the state of Karnataka .

At the infosys Mysore
centre, Nagarajan oversees an employee base of close to 15,000
comprising of both trainees as well as software professionals.

Apart from the managing the
Mysore Centre, he’s also deeply committed to social causes.

He is the Managing Trustee
of SOFTEN – the corporate social responsibility initiative of Infosys
Mysore and a member of the CII Mysore Environment and CSr panel.

Through SOFTEN, employees of
Infosys have made a significant impact to the society in education,
healthcare and environment initiatives.

Nagarajan’s hobbies include
listening to Carnatic classical music,swimming and pottering around his
garden. He is married to Nagalakshmi, an avid Bharathanatyam dancer who
also runs a preschool for tiny tots. They have two children – a son aged
11 years and a daughter aged 8 years.
